If you are looking for something different or live in the South East   you will find in Pasha a good and inexpensive option.
Pasha serves Central Asian food and gives a different experience by giving costumers the option of sitting in scattered stools and Persian style rugs.
Following tradition, Pasha serves lots of roots vegetable dishes, lamb and stuffed dumplings.

I am always on the look of food and locations outside my comfort zone so when suggested having Central Asian food in Peckham I agreed. The area is not know for being a glamourous quartier but I was not discouraged by that. Arriving in Pasha (hotel) one needs to go through what it feels like a labyrinth to reach the restaurant. But once inside one is pleasantly surprised by the decoration. It is possible to seat on the rugs or on a regular table. My friend and I chose the rugs. We were very hungry and judging by the prices we thought the portions would be very small. We ordered as starters hummus, beetroot salad and aubergine salad. It is enough to say that we could have had enough food with these dishes.  For mains I had potato dumplings and my friend had lamb and rice. It was impossible to eat everything. The food was rather good although the dumplings were quite dry.
In total we only paid 10 pounds per person including lassi (yoghurt drinks). We were so full that we could have walked from Peckham to Central London!
We went on a Monday and so there were not many costumers and therefore there were only few waitresses that were rather distracted.
The restaurant is good for a night out with friends for whom distance and time is not a concern.
